University of Greenwich scholarships for Pakistani students: the £3,000 and £6,000 Early Confirmation awards for January 2027, the deadline and the rules.
Quick answer For January 2027 entry, the University of Greenwich gives automatic tuition-fee discounts to new self-funded international students. To qualify, you must accept your offer and pay the full £3,000 deposit through Flywire by 16 October 2026:
- £3,000 for postgraduate taught students
- £6,000 for undergraduates, spread over three years
Criteria for the separate International Scholarship Award for January 2027 will be published in October 2026. There is no Greenwich award just for Pakistani students; Pakistani students qualify for the international awards on the same terms as everyone else.
Early Confirmation Postgraduate Scholarship: £3,000
An automatic £3,000 tuition-fee discount for new international postgraduate taught students.
You must:
- accept your offer and pay the deposit by 16 October 2026
- be a self-funded international fee-payer
- be joining Greenwich for the first time, on a UK campus, in January 2027, in the first year of a postgraduate programme
- pay the full £3,000 deposit through Flywire only. Payments made any other way aren't eligible, and the money must have cleared by the deadline.
No separate application is needed. (gre.ac.uk)
Early Confirmation Undergraduate Scholarship: £6,000 over three years
An automatic £6,000 discount for new international undergraduates: £2,500 in Year 1, £2,000 in Year 2 and £1,500 in Year 3.
The conditions are the same as for the postgraduate award:
- accept your offer and pay the full £3,000 deposit through Flywire by 16 October 2026
- be self-funded
- start on a UK campus in January 2027
International Scholarship Award
This is Greenwich's application-based award for international students. Greenwich says the criteria, application form and deadlines for January 2027 entry will be published in October 2026. Its 2026–27 undergraduate prospectus describes the award as worth up to £3,000 in your first year, but check the live page for the January 2027 terms.
Sponsored students can't get the Early Confirmation awards, and Greenwich points them to this award instead. (gre.ac.uk: International Scholarship Award)
Other Greenwich funding worth knowing about
- Chevening Scholarships can be used at Greenwich, as at any UK university. They are fully funded, and you apply through Chevening. (gre.ac.uk)
- AI and Data Science Postgraduate Scholarship: two £10,000 awards sponsored by Alcatel Submarine Networks. These are for students with home fee status, so most international students aren't eligible. (gre.ac.uk)
- International Hardship Fund: up to £1,000 per academic year for registered international students facing unexpected short-term costs. It's a safety net, not a way to fund your studies: you must show you planned for your fees and living costs before starting. First-year students can only apply from semester two, and applications for 2026/27 open from the end of October 2026. (gre.ac.uk)
Rules that catch people out
- No stacking: the Early Confirmation awards can't be combined with any other Greenwich scholarship or bursary.
- Fee discount, not cash: the award comes off your tuition fees after you register. It isn't taken off your deposit.
- January 2027 only: if you pay a deposit for January 2027 and then defer, you'll need to reapply for other awards.
- Courses not covered: partner courses (including UGIC) are excluded, and so are MRes, PhD and MPhil courses for the postgraduate award.
- A full application by the deadline: your application must be complete, with documents such as your passport and transcripts. If Greenwich has to ask you for more information, it doesn't count as complete.

About Greenwich Business School's accreditations
Greenwich's business courses carry course-level accreditations and exemptions from professional bodies, such as ACCA. Which ones apply depends on the course, so check the accreditations listed on your course page and on Greenwich Business School's accreditations page before you rely on any of them.
Money for your visa if you're from Pakistan
- Living costs: Greenwich's Greenwich and Avery Hill campuses are in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, a London borough. For courses there you'll need to show £1,529 a month for up to 9 months, plus the first-year fees on your CAS. The Medway campus is in Kent, where the amount is £1,171 a month. Your CAS shows where you'll study. (GOV.UK: money you need)
- Financial evidence: as a Pakistani applicant, you must send it with your visa application.
- TB test: you'll need a TB test certificate from a Home Office–approved clinic.
