You’ll study in state-of-the-art facilities, including simulated hospital wards, clinical skills suites, and bespoke laboratories, and on a variety of practice placements across NHS and private practice. Upon graduation, you’ll have the knowledge and practical skills required to excel in your career. You’ll be eligible to register with the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, which will significantly enhance your post-qualifying career prospects. Key features of the course You’ll learn how to enhance an individual’s functional outcomes and quality of life by: - Performing individualised health assessments and screenings - Implementing evidence-based, safe, and effective exercise interventions and behaviour change strategies, including nutritional guidance - Developing an understanding of clinical patho/physiology and aetiology of disease states - Understanding the pillars of prehabilitation, rehabilitation, and personalised care, including psychological support.
