**This Master’s in Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering combines solid waste management, and contaminated land treatment with management of the earth's resources.** This MSc course is designed for graduates from a wide range of environmental engineering backgrounds who want to apply new sustainable strategies to increasingly complex problems. We cover the technical aspects of natural and engineering environmental systems. Our broad approach combines science, public health and engineering. You'll develop your engineering skills and learn to design, develop and apply concepts for water and waste, considering environmental sensitivity. You will also consider planning, modelling, design, construction, operation, maintenance and control of engineered and natural water and earth resources. Students of our MSc Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering gain the skills for career progression in areas such as desalination and water reuse, water resource engineering, hydraulics, hydrology, and environmental remediation. For many students, applying to university can be a difficult and daunting decision. Financial barriers can limit student potential. We are grateful to the Mister Gees Foundation, who are sponsoring a bursary(https://www.gre.ac.uk/bursaries/mister-gees-foundation-bursary) worth £5,000 to a student enrolled on MSc Water, Waste and Environmental Engineering. This programme may include a range of learning activities such as on-campus teaching, practical sessions, workshops, placements or field-based work. These activities form part of the core learning experience. We welcome applications from disabled students and those with long-term health conditions. We encourage you to contact the Programme Team/admissions as early as possible so we can discuss your individual needs and explore reasonable adjustments. Please also visit our webpage(https://www.gre.ac.uk/support) to find out more about support available at the University. **What you should know about this course** - You can live and study at our Medway Campus in Kent and benefit from our excellent library and computing laboratory facilities - We are investing in laboratory improvements across the faculty developing integrated state of the art labs with specialised equipment to support our teaching and research - Dissertation topics focus on solutions to real world problems facing practitioners in environmental engineering - 1 x £5,000 bursary available to eligible students.
