This integrated programme is designed to prepare and support you for a career at the intersection of business and law. From the moment you enrol, you will begin developing the knowledge, skills and commercial awareness needed to understand how legal frameworks shape organisations and business activity. In the first year, you will build a strong foundation for studying at university level. You will develop key academic and professional skills such as communication, numeracy, critical thinking and independent learning, while exploring contemporary issues affecting organisations and society. Through project work and practical activities, you will begin to analyse business and legal situations and develop your problem-solving skills. As you progress, you will explore both business and law in greater depth. You will examine how legal frameworks influence areas such as contracts, employment and business operations, while developing your understanding of how organisations function in regulated environments. The programme prepares you for careers in business, management and related fields where legal knowledge is valued, and provides a foundation for further study in law. In the first year of the programme, you will build a strong foundation for studying business and law. You will develop key academic and professional skills while being introduced to how legal frameworks influence organisations. Through project work and practical activities, you will develop confidence in analysing business and legal scenarios. The programme uses a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars and workshops, where you will explore both business concepts and legal principles and apply them to real-world examples. You will be supported to develop your academic skills and approach to learning. As you progress, you will explore business and law in greater depth, developing your ability to evaluate legal and commercial issues, understand risk and make informed decisions.
