Offered by Northumbria University, Newcastle, the MA Publishing provides a comprehensive postgraduate education in media and communication. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, this programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a 1-year full-time structure. Please note this course is closed to international applicants for the September 2023 intake. Our innovative and unique MA Publishing masters course has been designed in collaboration with and will be delivered alongside one of the world's largest publishing houses, Hachette UK, and reading and writing development organisation, New Writing North. This Publishing masters course is the first in the UK to offer students a guaranteed placement with a global publisher and the opportunity to work with New Writing North on live writing development projects. A minimum ielts score of 6.5 is required for admission.
