Course Overview

The MFA (PG) Cinematography at National Film and Television School is a postgraduate programme designed for postgraduate students passionate about advancing knowledge and professional skills. Based in Beaconsfield, England, this programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a 2-year full-time structure. The only two-year specialist cinematography MA in the UK. Learn the art and craft of cinematography, combining creative expression with technical expertise. Collaborate with fellow students, shooting several films, with the opportunity to shoot both live action and animation. You’ll have access to a range of camera equipment including 16mm and 35mm film as well as Alexa XT and Alexa Mini Cameras, while you learn first-hand from Industry professionals and then graduate with the experience and knowledge to shoot cross-genre for film and television. International tuition fees are £26,000 per year, home/UK fees are £14,800 per year, and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
