Forensic Psychology (Practitioner Programme)

Course Overview

Offered by Cardiff Metropolitan University, the PgDip Forensic Psychology (Practitioner Programme) provides a comprehensive postgraduate education in psychology. Based in Cardiff, Wales, this programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a 3-year full-time structure. This course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and, upon completion, provides students with eligibility to apply to the register to practice as Forensic Psychologists in the UK. The course is designed to be placement based, with various workshops for students as well as clinical and academic supervision. We have students from all over the UK so we aim to make access to workshops as straightforward as possible, and so workshops are usually delivered via Microsoft Teams​. Home/uk fees are £3,150 per year, and a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 is required for admission.

We don’t have a set number of places each year. 3 years, usually 4 days per week for 45 weeks per year (students need to accrue no less than 360 days experience across the period of study)
