Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Sport Media (with Sport Foundation Year) at Cardiff Metropolitan University is a undergraduate programme designed for students passionate about shaping public narratives. Based in Cardiff, Wales, this programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a 4-year full-time structure. This is a four-year programme that includes a year of foundational study at our Cyncoed campus. Our foundation year offers the chance to strengthen your skills, knowledge and confidence, before you advance to stage one of your honours degree. The Sport Media Degree will enable you to develop the critical understanding, and professional knowledge of the sports media, marketing and communications industry, along with giving you the opportunity to develop the essential journalism, broadcast production and digital skills needed to enter the ever expanding, fast changing sports media environment. International tuition fees are £16,000 per year, home/UK fees are £9,790 per year, and a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 is required for admission.
