We are delighted to offer the Northumbria International Scholarship, awarding Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students* joining in September 2025 or January 2026 with a £3,000 fee discount, simply for choosing to study with us.
*Terms and Conditions
To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:
Be an International student with ‘Overseas’ fee status
Be domiciled in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka
Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)
Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Postgraduate Taught course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, starting in September 2025 or January 2026 (**see exclusions below)

Important Information
The International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, so you do not need to make a separate application
Students on an Advanced Practice or Study Abroad Masters who transfer to the non-Advanced Practice or non-study Abroad route more than four weeks after the start of their course, will not be eligible for the International Scholarship
This scholarship is for new students only. If you are a graduate of Northumbria University and are eligible for the Alumni Discount, you will be awarded the scholarship of highest value
Sponsored students are not eligible for the International Scholarship
Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees and bespoke offers have been agreed, are not eligible for the International Scholarship
Students studying on an Integrated Masters course are not eligible for the International Scholarship in their final year
The International Scholarship is awarded as a fee discount and is not a cash sum
If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal
