The University of Cumbria is offering an international fees discount scholarship of up to £2,500 (per year of study); this is available to most non-EU and non-EEA international students enroling with us in the academic year 2025/26.
There is no need to apply for this scholarship, it is automatically applied to reduce your tuition fee.
If you are offered a place on a programme of study with us for 2025/26, our Admissions Team will add the scholarship to your offer letter, and show an appropriate reduction in the tuition fee payable.
Please note that this award cannot be used in conjunction with any other scholarships or discounts, unless expressly stated on your offer letter.For continuing students, if you were awarded a Global Excellence Scholarship at the start of your course you will be awarded it in subsequent years for tuition fees (excluding retakes).
The University will be offering the following non-EU/non-EEA scholarships for 2025/26:
Global Business Scholarship: £2,500 fees discount for standard full-time on-campus taught MBA courses
Global Science and Sustainability Scholarship: £2,500 fees discount per year of study for standard full-time on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses in the Institute of Science and Environment
Global Excellence Scholarships: £1,500 fees discount for standard full-time on-campus UNDERGRADUATE and POSTGRADUATE taught courses (excluding Postgraduate Pre-Registration Health courses)
Programme Exclusions
These scholarships apply to our standard full-time, on-campus taught degree programmes only.
All undergraduate and postgraduate Pre-Registration Health courses* are excluded from this scholarship offer, as well as the following types of programme:
Distance learning
Blended learning
Postgraduate research
Pre-sessional English language
Professional placements
Work based learning
*with the exception of the Global Health and Wellbeing Scholarship where undergraduate nursing students from specific countries and regions are eligible for the scholarship.
Eligible countries
Applicants from any Non-EU or Non-EEA country are eligible for these scholarships.
