This course allows you to build up to a full-length piece of work, exploring the industry from various standpoints- creating characters, developing dialogue, and understanding how to write for different mediums. Key Modules: The course is divided into three parts - the first two trimesters comprise of taught modules covering scriptwriting for film, television and theatre, learning the art of adaptation, and understanding the industry. The final trimester is dedicated to a supervised writing screenplay project.Future Careers: The course prepares students for a variety of careers predominately in the creative industries, especially in scriptwriting for film, television, and theatre.
