The LLB Law course offered by the University of East Anglia is a dynamic, varied and stimulating course, which prepares graduates for numerous potential career paths. This well-rounded and universally recognized course will enable students to traverse a wealth of issues central to understanding law and its relation to the wider world.Course Content: The LLB Law curriculum focuses on key legal doctrines and principles, half of which are focused on core subjects like Constitutional and Administrative Law, Contract Law, Law of Tort, EU Law, Equity and Trusts, Land Law, and Criminal Law. Additionally, the course offers a range of elective options like Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Medical Law, Human Rights Law, and Family Law, amongst others.Key Modules: The course is structured with a number of compulsory and optional modules. The first year revolves around standard modules that provide a firm base, followed by remaining years that offer a wider selection of specialized modules. What's more, students have the added opportunity to study modules from outside of the law curriculum, broadening their horizons and interdisciplinarity of their degree.Accreditations: The LLB Law course is accredited by Solicitors' Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board. If students complete successfully, it will provide them with the qualification needed to go on to the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) to become solicitors or barristers.Future Careers: This degree can lead to a variety of careers beyond the traditional routes of solicitors or barristers such as paralegals, legal executives, court officials and legal secretaries.
