BSc (Hons) Midwifery

BSc Midwifery at the University of East Anglia is designed to empower students to become competent and autonomous midwives. The course provides a strong grounding in the theory and practice of midwifery, integrated with the clinical placements right from the first year of study. The course aims to help students learn the knowledge, understanding, and skills required to support, educate, and empower women during pregnancy, birth, and postnatal period.Course Content: The course content is divided amongst biological, social, and psychological perspectives with regard to childbirth and women's health.
