BEng (Hons) Energy Engineering

The BEng Energy Engineering course at the University of East Anglia (UEA) is designed to train the future engineers for a career in the ever-evolving energy sector. This course provides a deep understanding of energy both globally and in the UK context. The students will get hands-on experience with professional-standard hardware in the labs.Course Content: The students will study the core principles of engineering while building the knowledge and skills necessary to design and manage sustainable energy solutions. It aims to give students a solid grounding in the principles and generic skills of engineering, an understanding of the nature and sustainability of energy provision and the role of engineers in this. Key Modules: Some of the key modules in this course include Renewable Energy, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermofluids, Design and Materials, Control and Dynamics, etc.Accreditations: The Energy Engineering degree is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Energy Institute. It also fulfills the educational requirements necessary for Incorporated Engineer status. Future Careers: The course prepares students for a variety of careers in industries such as renewable energy, oil and gas, and power engineering.
