The BA in International Relations and Modern History course offered by UEA allows students to explore key periods of history within a wider political context. It combines two stimulating and challenging disciplines, providing students with a unique global perspective on the historical forces shaping today's world. Course Content: The program includes an understanding of the historical backdrop against which today's events unfold, as well as learning about the broader political, social, and cultural contexts that provide the framework within which world events are understood. Throughout the degree, students will acquire critical skills through a variety of teaching styles such as lectures, seminars, and workshops. Students can also opt to take a dissertation module in their final year where they will produce an extended essay based around their own research question linked to international relations.
