MSc Musculoskeletal Management

The Musculoskeletal Management MSc offered by University Centre Lancashire (UCLan) is a collaborative course developed and delivered by UCLan’s School of Sport and Health Sciences and the School of Medicine. This course is ideal for health professionals who wish to extend their understanding of musculoskeletal management and become competent in discussing and implementing various management strategies.Course Content: This unique course emphases the important aspects of musculoskeletal management, the importance of multi-professional work while recognising the core contribution that a range of health professionals bring to patient care. The multi-disciplinary approach allows students to share their knowledge and experiences with professionals from different disciplines. Key Modules: The course consists of following key modules such as Principles of Musculoskeletal Management, Advancing Clinical Practice, Evidence Based Practice, Practitioner Based Study, and Developing Research Skills. Accreditations: The course is currently undergoing an accreditation process with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the UK's leading professional body representing over 59,000 Chartered Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Students, and Support Workers.
