The Microbiology BSc course at The University of Central Lancashire is designed to provide students with an extensive understanding of microbiology as a science discipline. This course provides a deep insight into the world of microorganisms and their impact on health, disease, and environment. Students will have access to world-class laboratory facilities and will also be given opportunities to do a year of paid professional experience.Course Content: Throughout the course, students will gain practical laboratory skills as well as a theoretical understanding of microbiology, virology, and immunology.
