The Clinical Dental Technology BSc course at University of Central Lancashire is a comprehensive program aimed at providing students the opportunity to develop the technical, diagnostic and clinical skills required to design, manufacture and fit appliances and prostheses for dental patients. The course is designed to produce graduates who have a deep theoretical understanding and advanced practical skills in clinical dental technology.Course Content: The course involves the study of the basic dental sciences, dental biomaterials science, together with dental laboratory and clinical techniques. Additionally, students will learn the principles of diagnosis and treatment planning, patient management and the professional dynamics of working within the multiskilled dental team.
