The Aerospace Engineering BEng at the University of Central Lancashire is a dynamic course designed to equip students with critical skills needed in the aerospace industry. The program offers hands-on experience in aerodynamics, aircraft structures, flight dynamics, design, and systems engineering principles, while also preparing students for challenges within the fast-paced global aerospace industry.Course Content: The course content consists of core modules focused on providing thorough knowledge of aerospace vehicle design and materials, alongside an understanding of air transport operations and dynamics. Students are exposed to various research methods and techniques, along with numerical modelling and computational methods to resolve aerospace engineering problems.Key Modules: Key modules in the course include Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Flight Dynamics, Aircraft Systems, Aircraft Design, and Air Transport Engineering among others. The final year involves a major individual project plus a team design project.Accreditations: The course has been designed to meet requirements of the Engineering Council UK Standards for Professional Engineering Competence.
