BA (Hons) Media & Television Production

The BA (Hons) Media Production and Technology course at the University of Central Lancashire is a professionally oriented program that prepares students for a successful career in television and related evolving media industries. This program combines both practical and theoretical learning that encourages creativity, technical aptitude, critical thinking, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and a strong sense of audience awareness. Course Content: The course offers an understanding of the entire production process from pre-production through production to post-production. Students will learn about the industry's evolving nature, the role of the audience, and the process of production. They will gain skills in a range of technologies that may include cinematography, editing, sound recording, and multi-camera studio production.Key Modules: The key modules include Practical Skills for Television, Narrative Storytelling, Live Studio Productions, Experimental and Documentary Video Production, Audio Production, and Media Theory and Analysis.
