MA Dramatherapy

The MA Dramatherapy course offered at Aru University is a full-time, two-year course designed for creative minds. Rooted in the disciplines of Drama and Psychotherapy, this course will equip students to work as registered dramatherapists, offering a complete training that is recognised by the British Association of Dramatherapists.Course Content: The course engages students in a thorough understanding of the psychotherapeutic process. Taught by experienced, practicing dramatherapists, it integrates experiential, theoretical and clinical learning. The curriculum includes elements of performance and plays, alongside fundamental psychotherapeutic theories.Key Modules: The program comprises of modules aimed at enhancing the student's understanding, skills, and professional practice. It commences with an introduction to the Therapeutic Process, followed by Dramatherapy Practice and Supervision. Students subsequently delve into Advanced Clinical Practice in Arts Therapies and a research module.
