The BSc (Hons) Ecology and Conservation course offered by Anglia Ruskin University provides students with foundational knowledge in ecology and focuses on developing practical skills to carry out the fieldwork and lab procedures relevant to conservation. Students will conduct experiments in the SuperLab, use field equipment for sampling, analyze data and develop and test hypotheses. Additionally, they will study management of natural resources, the complexities of habitats and biodiversity, and current issues in conservation. The course also allows for overseas field trips and covers topics such as animal biology and climate change.Key Modules: Some of the major modules covered in the course include Broad-Scale Ecology, Conservation Skills, Freshwater and Wetland Ecology, and Research Methods.
