BA Hons Acting

Anglia Ruskin University offers an Acting Undergraduate course. This full-time program focuses on equipping students with acting skills and industry knowledge. Studying on this course gives students the opportunity to specialize in acting for Film, TV, Theatre, and Radio. An integral aspect has students develop essential collaboration and creativity skills through individual and ensemble work.Course Content: The course covers a variety of subjects including Acting Techniques, Voice, Movement, Devised Theatre, Contemporary Theatre Practice, Classical Theatre Practice, Radio Drama, and New Media Performance. Students will also study Contemporary and Classical Texts in Detail. The third year of study allows students to extend their research into specific areas of interest, including solo performance, new writing, and site-specific performance. Key Modules: Some of the key modules available in this course include Acting Techniques, Voice, Movement, Devised Theatre and Contemporary Theatre Practice.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the National Council for Drama Training (NCDT), the industry benchmark for training in the UK.
