The BA Popular Music course at the University of Gloucestershire offers students the opportunity to learn from leading professionals in the popular music industry. The course provides a platform to develop your own unique musical style and voice, through performance and composition.Course Content: This course focuses on performance and composition. It offers students the skills to compose in a variety of styles, and to interpret and perform their own compositions. All students have the opportunity to create a large-scale individual project in their final year, with previous students producing albums, EPs, and large-scale performances. Key Modules: The key modules of this course include Songwriting & Arrangement, Creative Music Production, Music & Screen Media, The Creative Musician, and Major Project.
