It immerses students in the practice of contemporary News study, the history and aesthetic of Documentary and Photojournalism.Key Modules: Key modules in this course are Year 1:- Writing for Journalists, Visual Culture, Media Landscapes, Photojournalism 1, Professional Practice, and Documentary and Photojournalism slideshow; Year 2:- Broadcast Journalism, Specialist Journalism, Multimedia Journalism, Documentary and photojournalism film, Professional Work Experience, and Developing a Documentary strategy; Final Year:- Advanced Documentary, Advanced Project, Advanced Multimedia Journalism, Journalism in Context, Critical Research, and Professional Portfolio.Accreditations: The university has two accreditations by the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) and the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC).Future Careers: Graduates can go on to careers in Photojournalism, Picture Editing, Digital and Social Media content producing, Documentary Photography or Filmmaking, or Media Production.
