MEng Renewable & Sustainable Engineering (MEng)

The Renewable and Sustainable Engineering MEng course at Wrexham Glyndwr University challenges students to tackle significant global issues surrounding renewable energy, sustainability, and climate change. The program offers a holistic approach to engineering and allows students to specialise in renewable energy and sustainability.Course Content: The course content is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to engage with and explore solutions to energy production, distribution, demand management and waste disposal. This includes developing a strong understanding of engineering principles and technologies such as renewable energy resources, nuclear power and hydrocarbons.Key Modules: Key modules include Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Methods, Heat Transfer, Clean Technology and Sustainable Development, and an individual project.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Energy Institute (EI).
