The Computer Game Development course offered by Glyndwr University is an undergraduate degree course that equips students with the skills needed to develop both computer games and professional applications. It is designed to support students to become innovative and professional software specialists, able to effectively develop, manage, and deliver high-quality software in a range of situations.Course Content: The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the technical and practical skills involved in game development. This includes both the programming aspects (such as algorithms and data structures) and the design aspects (such as storyboarding and artist concept development). Students also practice in a state-of-the-art computer games lab featuring dedicated workstations, advanced 3D graphics facilities, surround sound and the latest game development software.Key Modules: The course encompasses modules on Computer Applications Development, Storyboarding and Design, Programming Models, Project Management, and Visual Design among others.
