BA (Hons) Graphic Design

The Graphic Design BA (Hons) at Wrexham Glyndwr University is a full-time, three-year course that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the graphic design sector and equips them with the skills required to embark on a successful career in the graphic design industry.Course Content: This course combines practical and theory-based elements to provide a balance of creative problem solving and technical skill. Through a variety of projects, students learn how to translate ideas into visual forms, communicate through diverse media, and develop a sound understanding of the design process. The course also looks at contemporary design contexts, theories, and ideas.Key Modules: Modules studied throughout the course include Graphic Design Practice, Typography, Design Contexts, Designing with Technology, Advertising Design, and Graphic Design Dissertation. Future Careers: This course enables students to launch successful careers in a range of different design roles such as graphic designer, creative director, illustrator, brand strategist, or UX/UI designer.
