The MSc in Microbiology and Infection at the University of Birmingham is a full-time, one-year course designed to train students in the study of infectious diseases. It combines teaching on the molecular and cellular biology of microbial pathogens with clinical and epidemiological aspects of infectious diseases.Course Content: This course was designed with the assistance of leading microbiologists working in the NHS and Public Health England to provide training in microbiology with bias towards infectious diseases and biomedical sciences. You will have an opportunity to study the mechanisms of bacterial, fungal, parasite and viral infections.
