LLB German Law

The Birmingham Law School at the University of Birmingham offers a dual-honors course named Law with German LLB. This four-year program equips students with an in-depth understanding of the English and German legal systems, business environment, and basic language proficiency for practitioners.Course Content: In the first two years, the curriculum covers the seven foundations of legal knowledge that are integral to a qualifying law degree such as Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Law of Obligations. The third year is spent studying German law in Germany, while the final year back in Birmingham allows you to choose from a range of optional modules based on your interests.Key Modules: Some of the key modules included in this program are Constitutional and Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Equity, Trusts and Succession, The Law of Obligations (Contract, Restitution, and Tort), German Law etc.Accreditations: This degree is recognized by the Law Society and the Bar Council for the purposes of exemption from the academic stage of training towards qualification as a solicitor or barrister. Future Careers: Completing this course successfully opens up a variety of career opportunities for graduates.
