The BSc Economics with Spanish course at the University of Birmingham is an undergraduate program that combines the study of Spanish language and culture with the theory and practice of Economics. Course Content: The study course is spread over four years with the third year being spent abroad. The economics part of the course will be covering topics such as economic theory, research and social issues, while the Spanish part will provide you comprehensive knowledge in Spanish language, literature, culture and society. The first two years provide a foundation in core economics and Spanish modules. During the third year, students will be placed in a Spanish-speaking country to enhance their cultural understanding and language skills.
