BSc Chemistry with a Modern Language

The BSc Chemistry with a Modern Language course offered by the University of Birmingham provides students with a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of chemical concepts and techniques. This 4 year full time course not only delivers core chemistry modules, but also encourages students to develop language skills and cultural awareness by offering a language module in French, German or Spanish. Course Content: The first two years of study cover essential concepts of chemistry including Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. Alongside this, students can study a language at either beginner or advanced level. In the third year, the program includes an overseas placement in a country where the chosen language is spoken.
