The undergraduate course in Spanish from the University of Birmingham provides students the opportunity to become fluent in a major world language and enjoy remarkable cultural experiences. As students progress, they can choose specialized modules such as: literature, culture, history, politics, or language of the Hispanic world.Key Modules: Some of the key modules that students will study include Spanish language studies, beginners Spanish, intermediate Spanish, advanced Spanish, history and culture in the Hispanic world, contemporary Spanish society and politics among others.Future Careers: The career opportunities that this course opens include roles in national and local government, teaching, finance, publishing, translating, and many more. This course brings the potential for real-world professional training placements, including the optional work placement year.
