MSc English Literature (Creative Writing)

The English Literature and Creative Writing MA at the University of Sheffield provides students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of English literature and to develop their own creative writing skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. This course invites students to explore through a range of modules in literature and creative writing, fostering their creative and critical abilities in a dynamic academic community.Course Content: The MA course runs full-time over one year and part-time over two years. The course is a combination of seminars, workshops, independent study, and supervisions. There are two core modules in Creative Writing and Narrative and one core module in Literary Studies.
