The MSc Dental Technology programme at the University of Sheffield is a novel advanced course designed to serve global oral health centred innovations and challenges. It aims to provide in-depth knowledge and skills to enable technologists to enhance their technical skills, understand research and develop their management and clinical interaction capabilities.Course Content: During this course, you'll get a broad overview of dental technologies, clinical aspects and the research methods used in the analysis and development of dental appliances. Further develop your understanding of material science in relation to dentistry and learn how to critically assess and apply this in a practical setting. The final part of the course is a research project in which you'll carry out independent research into a current area of interest and produce a thesis.
