The Zoology MBiolSci at the University of Sheffield focuses on the biology of animals. It offers students an in-depth understanding of animal biology, incorporating the diversity, structure and function of animals and how they interact with their environment. Course Content: This integrated Masters course combines Bachelors-level (years 1-3) and Masters-level (4th-year) topics in zoology. In the first three years, students cover subjects such as animal biology, genetics, evolution and diversity, molecular biology, cellular and developmental biology. In the final year, students undertake an extended research project besides studying advanced topics. The research placement within the university or across the world gives in-depth knowledge and skills to the students.Key Modules: The course includes key modules like 'Animals and their Environment', 'Principles of Animal Behaviour', 'Animal Body Function', 'Animal Diversity', 'Molecular Biology and Biochemistry', and an extended individual research project in the final year.
