The Architecture Collaborative Practice MArch at the University of Sheffield is a two-year postgraduate course which integrates architectural education with professional practice. One of the key features of the course is its incorporation of practical training, offering the student a route to qualification as an architect in the UK. Course Content: This course includes a range of activities including design, history, theory, professional practice, technology, and visual and digital media. The students spend their first year in architectural practice and will work on a project that reflects their own interests in their second year. They will also have the opportunity to choose from a range of optional modules.Key Modules: Core modules include Architectural Practice and Project, Advanced Research Methods (Collaborative Practice) and Research by Design (Collaborative Practice). Optional modules available are Subject to choices currently include Design and Theory Research Studio, Architecture and Technology, History and Theory of Environmentally Conscious Architecture, Theory and Design of Digital Media and more.Accreditations: This course is prescribed by the Architects Registration Board (ARB) and validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
