Beng General Engineering

The General Engineering BEng (Hons) course offered by the University of Sheffield is a full time, 3-year program. This course gives students a solid grounding in core subjects, including materials science, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering, with plenty of practical activity in laboratories and workshops. Course Content: The three-year course begins with a general introduction to all key areas of engineering. In the second year, there is more flexibility for students to start specializing, although the course retains a broad base. The final year includes a major individual project and further opportunity for specialization in areas of interest.Key Modules: Key modules include Materials Science, Electronics, Solid Body Mechanics, Thermofluids, Mathematics, and Management, Economics, and Communication.
