The Landscape Architecture BSc course offered by the University of Sheffield is a creative, design-based subject combining art, science and culture. This course concentrates on understanding and managing the landscape in a sustainable way. Course Content: Throughout this course, students will understand landscapes at a variety of scales from the garden to the region to develop creative, practical and sustainable solutions to environmental challenges and social inequalities. Practical studio projects, fieldwork, and digital drawing techniques form a significant part of the learning process. Key Modules: The course is composed of four major modules across three years, including an Introduction to Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design & Art Practice, Landscape Urbanism, and Contemporary Themes in Landscape Architecture. Accreditations: The Landscape Architecture BSc degree offered by the University of Sheffield is accredited by the Landscape Institute (LI) and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) Europe. Future Careers: Graduates in Landscape Architecture often go on to have successful careers in specialized landscape architecture practices, multi-disciplinary built environment consultancies, NGOs, and public sector bodies.
