The Biochemistry with Industrial Placement Year BSc course offered by the University of Sheffield is designed to provide extensive and rigorous training in biochemistry, complemented with an industrial placement year to gain practical experience. The third year is spent on industrial placement with organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, Novartis and Public Health England.
