The Applied Social Sciences BA course at the University of Sheffield offers students an exploration into the social world. The program focuses on creating connections between different social science disciplines, understanding a range of issues, contexts, and experiences in depth. It brings together theory and practice, helping students understand the assemblies of human relationships, the functioning of societies, and the laws guiding social behaviour.Key Modules: The course's modules include ‘Doing Social Research’, where students learn about research methods and design, ‘Exploring Social Lives’ that introduces various social phenomena, and ‘Life, Death and the Human Condition’, which offers a sociological exploration of life and death.
