MA Creative Writing

The Creative Writing course offered at Leeds Trinity University is a Postgraduate programme designed to challenge, inspire and nurture you into the craft of writing. It provides its students with an understanding of writing techniques, different genres, and publishing industries while offering them the necessary support in developing their own writings.Course Content: The course content includes a firm grounding in literary forms and history, along with the opportunity to choose a specialist genre of interest such as fiction, non-fiction or script work. Students will undertake two major pieces of work in their specialist genre while also studying a series of Craft Development sessions and Working as a Writer sessions, that cover a range of topics intended to develop professional writing skills.Key Modules: Modules include Research Project, Reading Texts, Craft Development and Creative Writing Portfolio, among others.
