BSc (Hons) Maritime Business

The BSc (Hons) Maritime Business course offered by Plymouth University is a three-level Honours degree that provides a unique approach to learning about the shipping industry, combining business management principles with specialised maritime modules. It delivers a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of shipping logistics, including shipping economics, maritime law, and ports and terminals, among others.Course Content: The course is divided into three levels: Level 1 introduces students to the fundamentals of maritime business; Level 2 develops further understanding on shipping markets, maritime business strategies, and maritime law; and Level 3 emphasises more on strategic management in maritime business, shipping finance, and focuses on a dissertation project on a maritime-related topic suggested by the student.
