BSc (Hons) Geography with Ocean Science

The BSc Geography with Ocean Science course at University of Plymouth is a three-year full-time undergraduate program. This course is designed for those who wish to understand the world’s landscapes, environments and the issues affecting them. The course integrates practical field studies in spectacular locations around the world and local outdoor laboratories.Course Content: The course allows students to explore the principles of geography and ocean sciences and develop practical skills through fieldwork, laboratory work, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The course combines 75% geography and 25% ocean science, learning how the two interact. Key Modules: The course is composed of numerous modules including Physical Geography, Societies and Landscapes, Introduction to Coastal and Marine Environments, and Foundations in Ocean Science.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) with IBG.
