You will apply electrical and electronic theory to real-world problems, working in well-equipped laboratories and using industry-standard computer software, such as MATLAB/Simulink, C++, C#.NET, and our dedicated power system and telecommunications laboratories.Key Modules: The course covers key areas of both electrical and electronic engineering, allowing you to appreciate the complexity and breadth of the technologies utilised in the modern industrial world. These range from power systems, through analogue and digital electronics, to programming techniques using C#.NET or C++.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.Future Careers: Graduates from the program have the potential to work in a wide range of careers within the Electrical and Electronic sector.
