BA (Hons) Interior Design

The BA Interior Design course offered by the University of Plymouth is designed to guide students in becoming successful interior design professionals. The course combines conceptual and practical work, covering a wide range of design practices and encouraging students to explore, experiment, and innovate.Course Content: The course covers a wide range of design practices, encouraging students to explore, experiment and create their designs for a diverse range of commercial, domestic, and experimental interiors. The teaching methodology emphasizes practical outcomes and provides access to professional expertise and world-class resources facilitating students to become skilled, informed, and imaginative interior design professionals. Key Modules: Some of the key modules included in the course are Design Studio, Design Perspectives, Professional Studies and Design Communication, and other modules that allow students to gain knowledge and understanding of historic, contemporary, theoretical, and practical contexts of interior design.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Designers (CSD) and offers graduates progression to Chartered Membership following their degree.Future Careers: Graduates from this program often go on to become interior designers, visual merchandisers, draftsmen, design journalists, and design consultants.
