MA History

The MA History course at Liverpool Hope University offers an opportunity for students to explore the social, political, religious, and cultural history of Britain and overseas. Course Content: This course engages with a broad and diverse spectrum of historical inquiries, from socio-economic trends to political reform, gender issues to national identity, empire to memory studies. The programme is highly flexible, allowing students to pursue their own historical interests whilst developing the skills of the historian. Besides, the course comprises both taught components and independent research. Key Modules: The course mainly consists of four modules: Approaches to History; History Research Seminar; Public History Placement; and Research Dissertation.
