The Migration and Refugee Law LLM by Research at Liverpool Hope University is an exciting course designed for graduates with a 2.1 Honours degree or above in Law or a relevant discipline. The aim of the course is to provide an in-depth understanding of the key principles, concepts, and theoretical perspectives informing Migration and Refugee Law in the UK, Europe, and internationally, using a variety of approaches especially relevant to contemporary legal practice and scholarship. Course Content: The research programme requires an extended dissertation on a topic of the student’s choice, under the expert supervision of academic staff. The dissertation could deal with, for example, aspects of migration, asylum, refugee, nationality, citizenship, European Union or human rights law.
