BA (Hons) English Literature and Psychology

The English Literature and Psychology course at Liverpool Hope University offers a dual degree, enabling students to study these two closely linked disciplines side-by-side. The Psychology section of the course deals with the scientific study of the mind, brain, and behaviour, studying mental processes, developmental changes, and social behavior. Key Modules: Some course modules include The Mind, Brain, and Behaviour, Developmental and Social Behaviour, and Cognitive and Biological Psychology. On the English side, modules explore various literary eras such as Early Modern Literature, Romantic Poetry, and Novel Writing. Accreditations: The Psychology component of the course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).Future Careers: This course provides a foundation for careers in teaching, marketing, human resources, and counselling, among others.
