The Conservation Biology and Geography course offered by Hope University is an undergraduate program that explores both the biological and geographical aspects of environmental conservation. The course aims to design for students essential knowledge about organisms, their habitats, and the challenges faced by these habitats due to human-induced change. Course Content: The coursework includes gaining a practical understanding of the principal geographical and biological methodologies, and technological equipment used in the field. Students also get introduced to contemporary themes such as climate change, sustainable development, wildlife and habitat conservation strategies. Key Modules: The modules in this course are split into two broad streams: Conservation Biology and Geography. Core topics include Research Methods in Geography, Genetics & Evolution, Conservation & Sustainability, and Population Ecology & Wildlife Conservation.
